April Fool - winter's gone

(Late, yes - and old.)

Like an old man
He frets and prowls,
Hiding a heart
that gathers grace
 with age -
The cider-stock appearance
Confuses no one - after all
Should a man be worn
When body softens
and
Bite becomes a growl?
